ALPHARETTA, Ga., Jan. 13, 2015 – LG Electronics announced today the appointment of RST Thermal as the manufacturer’s representative for LG’s industry-leading home comfort solutions and light commercial systems in the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont. A leading manufacturer’s representative firm in the New England area, RST Thermal provides technical and sales support to wholesale distributor partners, contractors and homeowners.

“RST Thermal has remained an integral part of the growing heating and air conditioning industry since 1989,” said Richard Trethewey, President of RST Thermal. “By maintaining a strong focus on quality products that provide the utmost efficiency for consumers, we’re pleased to represent a portfolio of LG’s air conditioning systems across six New England states.”

RST Thermal has pioneered and championed the best, highest quality heating and cooling products while bringing energy efficient systems to the New England market for more than two decades. Now the firm will showcase the benefits of LG systems that offer flexible and cost-effective designs, quiet operation and simple installation, while allowing owners to cool or heat rooms without invasive ductwork.

“Aligning with a company that shares our commitment to advancing energy efficiency and home comfort in the US market is another step forward in helping consumers save real money on their utilities in residential and commercial spaces, without sacrificing comfort,” said Kevin McNamara, Vice President of LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc., Commercial Air Conditioning. “With RST Thermal’s extensive experience and knowledge of the industry, LG’s innovative air conditioning systems will have an even more significant impact across New England.”

Trethewey is also well known throughout the industry.
